We heard your voice, calling us to come and “play” with you. We said YES, and you brought the building, the underwriters, the workers, the artists, and the musicians. You planted dreams in our heads on how to overcome obstacles. You showed up a wonderful ways. So, we come to you today giddy, with expectant hearts. Lord, come as you promised to The Venue. Let your Spirit settle in that place. Interact with your children. We want to play with you, dance with you, sing with you….Give you glory through the gifting you have giving us. Thank you that you delight in us and dance over us. We are deeply in LOVE with you Lord.

    In Jesus Name, amen

The Venue is a testament that God is Living, and that He is awesome! From the way in which the Venue idea was born, to it's realization, again! And what a great place to see His awesomeness. Such diversity in His people, the art, the music. The way His community has come together shows a love that breaks barriers, tears down walls. This provided a great place to meet people, old and new. Lots of great discoveries, of a gift you didn't know someone had or in the beauty of a photograph, and a chance to discover your own inner artist. Not at all the same experience as last year, or maybe even from night to night. But definitely great. Can't wait til next year.

Last year at this event I was amazed at the feeling in the atmosphere. The people shared their experiences and their love for the Lord. Some showed it through music, art, multimedia or hospitality. The love of Jesus was expressed so well. I was so thankful to be a part of this great group of people and experience all that came to the event and shared their lives with us that night. My prayer is that all people would come to know the Lord. I pray that they would all have a personal relationship with him. I pray that they would create art that expresses worship or create art that is inspired by Him. The Lord has really opened my eyes and my heart and I pray that He will open yours as well. The Lord speaks to us when we are in relationship with Him, He guides us, heals us, forgives us and shares with us. The God of this entire universe loves each one of us so much that He knows the number of hairs on our head right now. He is a supernatural God, which allows supernatural things to happen through us in the name of Jesus. He is all powerful and in Him all things are possible. This is who I trust in and want at my back at all times. I am always amazed that even when I make mistakes He still loves me and is gentle with me. I hope that everyone will take time to get to know and listen to the God that created them who loves them and calls them His beloved.

I was walking in to work and a gentleman was shoveling ice-encrusted snow off some steps of the building next to the St. Peter Herald (where I work). He stopped me and mentioned that he'd seen a photo of my "vehicle" (the van with the
bird and "Free in Jesus" on the hood) at the Venue a few weeks ago! And he was so excited because he recognized it as the vehicle that's in the lot where he works. He chatted with me for several minutes
about the Venue and how he and his wife heard about it in the bulletin at Hosannah and forgot to go Friday night, but went Saturday night and
enjoyed a few of the acts on stage and toured the gallery. He thought it was a really neat night and they enjoyed it a lot.

I was blessed that he recognized my van and stopped me to mention it, and also very blessed that he and his wife loved the Venue experience!

Another life touched by God and His amazing works through His children
